Meeting the Press

Today on Meet the Press Tim Russert tried to grill Rudy Giuliani on personal issues and ancient history. I am sure he feels like a hero to the left wing, but we learned nothing about how Rudy would govern from this exercise. To his credit, Rudy did not back down from this hatchet job one iota. As Russert asked questions that warped and twisted the truth, Giuliani leaned into him showing he was not going to be intimidated.

Russert tried to get Rudy to release his Giuliani Partners client list. Something Rudy could not and should not do. As Russert asked about connections with terrorists, Hugo Chavez and others, Rudy could not help but laugh. To stretch reality so thin showed how desperate the left is to find a chink in his armor. Rudy looked like the confident leader he is while Russert just looked desperate trying to trip him up.

Meanwhile, over at FOX news, Chris Wallace revealed that other than Senator Clinton, no democrat presidential candidate is willing to appear on FOX nor will they participate in a FOX sponsored debate. These democrat cowards want to be Commander in Chief, but can't even handle FOX news?

While the Dems fight among themselves over who has the biggest celebrity endorsements, Republicans are trying to be serious. But with CNN's planted You Tube questions and Russert's silly badgering, it not always easy.
